The EFL Cup, known by its sponsor's name as the Carabao Cup, is the knockout competition for the 92 clubs in the Premier League and English Football League. Ties are single matches, except the two-legged semi-finals, and a drawn tie goes straight to penalties without extra time in the early rounds. Clubs in European competition enter later, and the final is played at Wembley, usually in February or March, with a place in European competition for the winners. Because bigger clubs often rest regular starters in the early rounds, team news matters more here than in the league, and probabilities can move sharply once line-ups are known. Each tie below shows the market's fair probabilities and a plain read.
